Authenticator App Fails to Launch on Android

If you find your Authenticator is stuck loading and times out, this is likely due to an update to WebView. The most successful fix has been the following:

Go to Settings -> Apps
In the App list, find Android System WebView and tap into it
Tap the 3 dots on the top right and select "Uninstall Updates"
Restart your phone
