Swiftlane is the new visitor video entry system at the Terrace. The call boxes are located at the East and West Entrances.        This system does not impact KeyScan access for the building.


  • All Terrace residents have been configured to receive visitor calls via an audio call on their primary phone number - this could be a landline or cell phone. The notification phone call from the East or West Entrance will be from 240-709-1512.  Residents have been encouraged to program this number into their phone(s) to ensure they don't mistake it for a spam call. Once the call has been answered, the resident must press "9" to allow entry into the building. 


  • Each call box will have a "Tenant Directory" button. Visitors will need to press that button; then select the apartment number they wish to visit. There will be no resident names listed in the tenant directory - this is different than the previous system, with the goal of increased safety and security for residents. 


  • Each call box is equipped with a "Call Reception" button. 
    • M-F 8am-10pm - calls will be routed to the Terrace Reception Desk phone #. 
    • M-F 10pm-8am and Saturday/Sunday - calls will be routed to the On-Call FS Phone.  


  • Additional Security Feature:  The video system within each call box takes a photo anytime someone comes within three feet of the call box. No interaction with the call box is necessary for this photo to be taken. The image is then date/time/location stamped and saved to our Swiftlane cloud account.  


Staff Logins:

Staff logins credentials for Swiftlane are synced with Azure for SSO. Individuals in this group are located in the "Swiftlane Users Email Group" 


Swiftlane Mobile Features: 

Residents have the option to download the Swiftlane Mobile App to utilize two-way video calling along with other options such as building access via facial recognition. All residents received an app invitation during initial set up of the system, these emails expire after 3 days. If help accessing the app is needed, please reach out to the Terrace AA or Resident Tech Manager.
